Goal

Read configured Codex MCP servers without launching them.

Scope

  • Parse user/global Codex config TOML paths relevant to this project.
  • Extract stdio/http server entries, enabled tools/disabled tools when present, and config source.
  • Missing files should return an empty inventory, not an error.

Acceptance criteria

  • Parser is static: it does not execute commands or contact URLs.
  • Tests cover missing file, valid stdio server, HTTP server, enabled/disabled tool allowlists.
  • pnpm check && pnpm build passes.
