Summary

Adds --metadata-file <json> flag to patchwarden pipeline — lets pdurlej/platform Actions run the deterministic pipeline without a Forgejo token. Closes #27.

Changes (+178/-7, 3 files)

  • pipeline.py: PipelineInput.metadata_file field, run_pipeline branches to _load_metadata_file() when set (else Forgejo fetch), REQUIRED_METADATA_KEYS validation
  • cli.py: --metadata-file flag on pipeline subcommand
  • tests/test_cli_pipeline.py: 4 new tests (happy path, missing file, invalid JSON, missing required keys)

Acceptance criteria (issue #27)

  • patchwarden pipeline --metadata-file fixture.json --skip-post --policy-bundle-file ... writes same artifact set as Forgejo-fetch mode
  • No network call in metadata-file mode (no client.fetch_pr invocation)
  • Existing pipeline tests still pass (full suite: 77/77 OK)

Out of scope (per issue)

  • ❌ Webhook listener
  • ❌ Automerge
  • ❌ LLM/reviewer orchestration (that's #29 + ollama wave next)
  • ❌ New dependencies (stdlib only)

Test plan

PYTHONPATH=src python3 -m unittest discover -s tests → 77 OK.

Suggested status

Merge now — unblocks platform Actions dry-run lane without Forgejo token. Next: #29 prompt rendering + ollama_client (real model call wave).
